Geography: The charming village of McGregor lies to the northeast of Greyton.
History: The beautiful little village of McGregor was established in 1861 and named after Reverend Andrew McGregor, a Scottish Dutch Reformed minister. The many thatch-roofed 'Cape cottages' and Cape Dutch architecture are well known and in fact many say that the whitewashed, black roofed homes give a clear indication of what the area must have looked like in the mid 19th century.
