Noordhoek, on the Atlantic side of the Peninsula just below Chapman's Peak, has a beautiful stretch of deserted beach, where the film "Ryan's Daughter" was filmed. Off the M6, Noordhoek Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the peninsula and is a popular venue for surfing, horse-riding and long walks which end at the wreck of the Kakapo. There is also an exciting arts route or shopping at the Sun Valley Mall.
