Geography: This 22,270 sq km park is located around a 5,000 sq km largely dry depression known as the Etosha Pan. Situated in northwestern Namibia, this is one of the great reserves in Africa!

Hitory: The Park was proclaimed by German Governor Von Lindequist in 1907. It was once the largest game reserve in the world but, for political reasons, the surface area of the park was reduced by 77% in the 1960's!

Science & Nature: The Park offers visitors a feast of game-viewing - best in the dry season when animals seek out the waterholes.
