At the Tsitsikamma National Park in Stormsriver along the Garden Route and a short drive from Knysna, you can experience the thrill of sliding through the forest on a 2 ½ hour Tarzan and Jane style adventure.

Enjoy the unequalled beauty of the indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest traversing 30 metres above the forest floor. From the start on the launch platform a new world unfolds as one gently glides on a steel cable to the first tree platform high up in a giant Yellowwood tree. The platforms provide an unbelievable view of this enchanting new world.

Enjoy the adrenalin of the slides, or spend a couple of minutes relaxing while your guides enthusiastically explain the ecology of the forest – pointing out different trees and magnificent giant ferns way below. The bird life is magnificent. Knysna Loeries, sightings of the elusive Narina Trogan and the Samango monkey are not uncommon. A couple of hours later you exit the Tsitsikamma Forest having undertaken the journey of a lifetime. In the process you have contributed to the creation of new jobs and helped the Tsitsikamma Forest regeneration project. Safety is paramount and the system has been built to the highest civil engineering standards. All equipment is state of the art and guides are fully trained.

Tours depart every hour from 8:00am to 15:30pm in summer and 9:00am to 14:00 in winter, and are conducted in all weather conditions.

Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours are suitable for anyone between the ages of 7 and 70, and are great for the whole family, groups and corporate team builds. A maximum of 8 people are taken per group but larger group bookings of up to 120 people per day can be handled.
